Cincinnati Takes the Cake!

That's right, you read right! So I know, know! It's been AWHILE, to say the least, since I last posted on this blog. After I began blogging, I slowly lost a good direction. So here I am back (with a bit more direction) at the end of the year of 2010 with some News!!!

Dustin and I are moving to Cincinnati, Ohio!! We are excited about the adventure and opportunity to be able to move! We are thrilled to be able to see what this world has to offer in different locations. We have thought about moving out of NC for some time now. We've both felt that the world is such a huge amazing wonder and all we have is this one life to experience it. So we're trekking out on our adventure to experience what God has given us all, Cincinnati!

Yeah I know what you are thinking! Ohio really wasn't on our list of "Really want to live there", but it was never on the "When hell freezes over!!" list either. We've spoken with many people from the area and people who live there now and surprisingly, all around the reviews are positive! Dustin will be working at the big bank in town, doing what he loves to do, which makes me a happy girl. I will be searching for a job once we get up there. With Macy's headquartered in town, I'm hoping to get back to my major, which is very exciting!

We will be visiting the city next week to find a house to rent. Our relocation specialist is convinced this process should only take a day. I think she must be an extreme optimist!! We're looking for a house so that Kody has a wide open backyard to play in, even though it will be covered in snow more often than not!

To all our friends and family in NC, we will miss you more than you know and every one of you are more than welcome to come visit. I hear the months of November to March are extremely amazing, but might be a bit frigid and seem like a frozen tundra to our fellow Southerners! So you may need to pack your snow boots! :)

I will try to keep everyone up to date with the happenings and adventures of these Stancil's in the big city of Cincy! I'm hoping to post some pics after our trip there next week, so stay tuned!!

I'm so excited for you both! And yes, for you two, it may seem like a 'frozen tundra'. Lol. Jason
